1. Terms of Use
The site www.casteleven.com allows free access to up-to-date information. Its content belongs to the GDBM association.
These terms and conditions apply to all products presented on this site. The customer agrees to use the services of the site in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The Customer declares to be of legal age and have full legal capacity, enabling them to agree to the T&Cs or act under the supervision and with the consent of a person with parental authority.

All images and texts on the site are the exclusive property of Éditions GDBM. Any representation or reproduction by any means is governed by intellectual property law.

Order confirmation implies acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale.
2. Data Protection and Privacy of Information
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, anyone can freely access the personal data collected through the site.
Any information collected by the e-commerce system is strictly confidential and cannot be transmitted to third parties.
When making purchases, we only ask for essential information (name, surname, address, email) for quality processing and attentive order tracking.
Access to personal data is available through the "My Account" section and requires entering an email address and password by the user.
Éditions GDBM reserves the right to use this data for global statistical purposes that are non-personal.
Regarding cookies
Cookies store certain information on your hard drive. Under no circumstances do cookies contain confidential information like your name, card number, etc., but they help remember the items you selected during previous visits, the pages you navigated. Additionally, a warning message asks whether you wish to accept cookies, which you can refuse.

3. Book Prices
The prices of the various products presented (books, goodies, etc.) are listed in euros and are inclusive of all taxes, with shipping costs additional.
All orders are payable in euros, regardless of the origin of the order.
Prices are set by the publisher and comply with the French single price law for books.
Prices may be modified by the publisher.
The price is payable in full and in a single payment at the time of the order. All orders are invoiced and payable only in euros.
Prices include the value-added tax (VAT) applicable at the time of the order. Any change in the applicable VAT rate will automatically affect the price of products offered for sale on the site.
For deliveries outside mainland France, any customs duties or local taxes remain the responsibility of the recipient.
4. Online Payment

For credit cards, you will need to provide your card number, expiration date, and the security code on the back, directly in the designated area (secure entry via SSL encryption).

The transfer must be made within 48 hours of the Order date on the Site, or the Order may be canceled by GDBM. The delivery times specified in the T&Cs or on the Site only start once GDBM has received the transfer, and are therefore extended by this additional period.
The customer agrees to pay the listed price and associated charges (including shipping fees and taxes) for the purchased product.
2) Payment Security and General Provisions
The Customer guarantees to GDBM that they have the necessary authorizations to use the chosen payment method at the time of placing their Order.
GDBM reserves the right to suspend or cancel the execution and/or delivery of any Order, regardless of its nature or level of execution, in the event of non-payment or partial payment of any amount owed by the Customer to GDBM, in case of payment incidents, or fraud or attempted fraud related to the use of the Site or the payment of an Order.
In the fight against online fraud, information regarding an Order and the Customer concerned may be transmitted to third parties for verification purposes.
When a payment method is issued by a banking or financial institution, only those issued by a duly authorized payment service provider in France are accepted by GDBM.
GDBM uses secure payment tools: PayPal. Payment security is based on Customer authentication and confidentiality of all data. To ensure this security, the payment provider uses reliable cryptographic techniques and complies with the applicable banking regulations.
5. Invoicing / Shipping
Order management is handled by members of the GDBM association.
Ordered books will be immediately shipped, each shipment accompanied by an invoice.
Shipping fees include a contribution to packaging and handling costs, as well as postage fees. They are based on the current French postal rates, consisting of a fixed part and a variable part depending on the number of items ordered. The geographical area and shipping method you choose will affect the cost. Be sure to combine all your items into a single order.
Éditions GDBM cannot be held responsible for postal service malfunctions or delays. In case of delays or damaged packages, please contact our services at editionsgdbm@gmail.com.
In exceptional cases, some books marked as available on the site at the time of consultation may be unavailable at the time of shipping. In this case, our customer will be immediately informed (either of the delay in delivery or the refund of the transaction).
6. Exchange and Return
If an item is defective or non-compliant, we commit to exchanging or refunding it, provided it is returned within 30 days of receiving the package to:

The Customer will also have 3 days to report defects to the carrier.
In case of refund, it will be made by check or card reimbursement within 30 days of receiving the returned package. No cash-on-delivery shipments will be accepted, regardless of the reason.
a) If the item is not suitable for any reason, the customer has a fourteen (14) day withdrawal period from the receipt of the package to return their order. The package must be returned by mail only, in its original packaging, in perfect condition (If you no longer have the original packaging, please take extra care with the packaging.).
In case of exercising the right of withdrawal within the above-mentioned period, only the price of the purchased product(s) and shipping costs will be refunded; return shipping costs remain at your expense.
Items that are damaged, soiled, or damaged by the customer will not be accepted.

b) In the case of an error on your part (wrong book choice, duplicates), postage costs will not be refunded (both delivery and return).
If a package is returned to us due to an address error (entered by the customer) or non-claim at the post office, the shipping fees for resending may incur an additional payment from the customer.
Cookies placed by our site are temporary and are not stored on your computer.

Éditions GDBM implements control measures and content filtering tools and commits to cooperating with relevant authorities in the fight against illegal content.

9. Warranties – Limited Liability
The customer uses the services of Éditions GDBM at their own risk. The publisher cannot guarantee that the service www.casteleven.com will not experience interruptions.
The publisher guarantees the supply of the product ordered by the customer.
Their liability cannot be engaged for direct or indirect damages caused by using the services of the site or consulting the data.
10. General Provisions
Éditions GDBM reserves the right to modify the general terms and conditions of use. The customer will be informed by email and invited to review these modifications.
The customer cannot transfer the provided information, which is reserved for strictly personal use, to a third party.
The general terms and conditions and commercial relationships related to the site www.casteleven.com are governed by French law.
In case of a dispute, if the parties do not reach an agreement within 15 days following written notification from either party, it will be submitted to the arbitration of the competent court.
The general terms and conditions represent the entire agreement between the publisher and the customer.
The publisher and the service provider involved in delivering the service cannot be held responsible for failure or delays in fulfilling their obligations resulting from causes beyond their control, including force majeure, acts of civil and military authorities, fires, earthquakes, floods, strikes, accidents, transport disruptions, etc.
11. Delivery Terms
Delivered books are sent by postal services, and the customer has the option to choose a shipping method with tracking.
The delivery of an order only occurs once the payment has been fully processed.
12. Validity of Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions will be applicable until further modifications.
